you are warmly invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of Blackburn District Scout Council on Thursday 26th September 2024.
The event will take place at St James Church, Stopes Brow, Lower Darwen, Darwen BB3 0QP 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start. Refreshments will be provided immediately following the AGM and a chance to socialise with Scouters from across the District.
Nominations for election as a member of the District Trustee Board (including self nominations) are welcomed in advance of the meeting.
We are looking to elect the following for the Trustees Board:
1. District Treasurer

District Secretary (non Trustee role)
The Trustees Board meet 4 times a year so it's not a huge time commitment, but it is an opportunity to help shape Scouting in Blackburn. If you would like to nominate someone then please e-mail by Thursday 5th September 2024 to the District Chair Stuart Parker at parker_stuart@hotmail.com.
