Adult Vacancies

Blackburn Scouts currently has over 550 young people Scouting each week across the town in our 10 Scout Groups (See the Group information page for locations)

We are always looking to grow our dedicated Leadership team to enable us to continue to give more young people across the town to access Scouting and develop their Skills for Life. Our strategy is to build on the success of recent years and grow the number of young people Scouting to 1000 by 2025. It's a major challenge which we know we can achieve with support from people like YOU.

Being a Scouting volunteer is very rewarding and and we encourage new applicants for the roles below. If you are interested please complete the contact form.

Squirrel Scout Volunteer	Squirrels are our youngest section for young people aged 4-6 years old	St. George's Mill Hill/
Beavers Scout Volunteer	Beavers are young people aged 6-8 years old.	St. Georges Mill Hill / Immanuel Feniscowles
Cub Scout Volunteers	Cubs are young people aged 8-10.5 years old	St. Georges Mill Hill / Immanuel Feniscowles/ Saliheen / St. Peters Salisbury
Scout Volunteers	Scouts are young people aged 10.5 - 14 years old	Immanuel Feniscowles / Saliheen
Explorer Scout Volunteers	Explorers are young people aged 14-18 years old
Scout Active Support Volunteer	Scout Active Support are adults who help in one of our active support units. These include our team at Canalside Activity Centre, our watersports team and our general support volunteers.	Canalside SASU / WACKYS SASU
