Paul Wicks has organised a British Canoeing Explorer Course for Explorers and Adults across the District. The first date will be Monday 15th July 7pm at Fishmoor Reservoir.
The course is open to paddlers who already paddle reasonably competantly (equivalent to the old BCU 1* level, not for novice paddlers.
The skills that you will develop are those needed for a B1 and hopefully in time a B2 paddlesport permit.
We have recieved confirmation the course will be accepted by British Canoeing (so I can award certificates at the end).
There is no formal assessment.
