All the volunteers at Canalside Activity Centre would like to say a massive thankyou to Tyson Construction for their donation of 8 tonnes of gravel for work at the centre.

Tyson Contractors are currently building social housing in Mill Hill on Shorrock Lane and Bowen Street.

Jeremy Whittle, Tyson Construction Managing Director said, “We are delighted to be able to help Blackburn Scouts to improve the outside space at the Canalside Activity Centre. The site is very close to our construction sites on Bowen Street and Shorrock Lane and it will be valuable to the Great Places Housing residents who will eventually live on these developments, and the wider community.”
